Here's the plan for a two day Jaipur Tour.
On your first day, we suggest focusing on the magnificent forts and the vibe of the old city.
- Morning: We’ll pick you up from your hotel around 9 AM. We like to head straight to Amber Fort (sometimes called Amer Fort). It’s huge and sits on a hill, so you’ll want a good few hours to explore it properly.
- Afternoon: After a break for lunch, we’ll head back towards the city. On the way, we’ll stop for photos of the Jal Mahal (the Water Palace). Then, we’ll visit the City Palace complex, where Jaipur’s royal family still has a private residence.
- Evening: To finish the day, we’ll make sure you get that classic picture of the Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds) as the sun gets lower. Afterwards, you can explore the lively local bazaars nearby before we drop you back at your hotel.
Your second day can be a mix of another amazing fort and some local culture.
- Morning: We’ll visit Nahargarh Fort. It’s perched high on the hills and gives you a completely different, incredible view of the entire city. It’s usually less crowded than Amber Fort, too.
- Afternoon: This is a great time to do something hands-on. We can take you to a local block-printing workshop where you can learn the art and make your own souvenir. Or, if you’re more interested in history, we can visit the Albert Hall Museum. It’s flexible.
- Evening: After a full day of sightseeing, we’ll drop you back at your hotel or to the airport/train station.
