Golden Triangle Heritage & Culture Tour (6 Days)
Want to Really Experience the Golden Triangle?
If you’re looking to do more than just quickly see the sights, this is the tour for you. This isn’t our fast-paced trip; this is a 6-day journey designed to let you soak in the real culture and heritage of Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur.
A lot of people look for a golden triangle tour 5 days, and that’s a good trip. But we’ve found that adding just one more day completely transforms the experience. It gives us time for the cultural activities—like a cooking class or a folk village visit—that make this tour so special and memorable.
An honest note about the weather: Since it’s July, it’s monsoon season here. This means the countryside is beautiful and green, but it can also rain quite a bit.

Here's the plan for your 6-day Golden Triangle Tour.
We’ve fine-tuned this schedule over many years to make it as smooth as possible.
We’ll pick you up from the Delhi airport when you arrive. No rushing around today. We’ll get you checked into your hotel so you can relax, settle in, and get over your flight.
Today we dive into Delhi. We’ll see the big, famous sights like Humayun’s Tomb and the Qutub Minar. But we’ll also go deeper with a proper walking tour through the spice market in Old Delhi. In the evening, we can visit the incredible Akshardham Temple to see the beautiful light and sound show.
After breakfast, we drive to Agra. On the way, we’ll stop at a place most shorter tours have to skip: Fatehpur Sikri. It’s a stunning abandoned city that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire. It’s one of my favorite places to show people. We’ll arrive in Agra and check you into your hotel in the evening.
We’ll get you to the Taj Mahal early for that beautiful sunrise view. Afterwards, instead of just moving on, we’ll do something different. You’ll have the choice of a hands-on cooking class to learn how to make real local food, or a visit to an artisan workshop to see how the marble inlay art of the Taj is still practiced today.
Today we make the drive to the Pink City, Jaipur. After you check into your hotel, the evening is all about fun and culture. We’ll take you to Chokhi Dhani, a fantastic open-air cultural village. You can see traditional Rajasthani folk dances, puppet shows, and have a huge, amazing traditional dinner.
On our last day, we’ll spend the morning exploring the magnificent Amber Fort on the hill. After that, we’ll see the City Palace and get a photo of the Hawa Mahal before starting the drive back to Delhi for your evening flight home or hotel drop-off.

Questions people ask us:
1. How is this different from a standard 5-day tour?
That extra day is key. A golden triangle tour 5 days is great for sightseeing, but this 6-day plan allows us to add the cultural experiences like the cooking class and Chokhi Dhani. It’s less about rushing between monuments and more about actually experiencing the culture.
2. What if I want a shorter trip?
No problem at all. This is our most in-depth tour. If you’re shorter on time, you can check out our standard Golden triangle tour package options on our main page, like the popular 4-day trip.
3. Is this tour good for a first-time visitor to India?
It’s perfect for a first-timer. It shows you all the famous ‘must-see’ places, but it also gives you a real taste of the local culture, food, and art that most tourists on a quick trip end up missing.
Our promise is simple.
Our promise for this tour is to show you an India that’s more than just monuments. We want you to taste the food, see the art, and get a real feel for the culture. We handle all the planning for a safe and comfortable trip, so you can have a truly rich and memorable experience.
