We’ll pick you up from the airport or your hotel. After you settle in, your guide will take you on a proper heritage walk through the busy lanes of Old Delhi. We’ll explore the incredible spice market and even try some famous Delhi street food (only from safe, clean places we’ve known for years!). You’ll stay overnight in Delhi.

Today we see the grand sights of New Delhi, like Humayun’s Tomb. But we’ll also do something different: we’ll visit a Sikh temple (Gurudwara) to see the amazing community kitchen where thousands are fed for free every day. It’s a powerful cultural experience. In the afternoon, we’ll start the 3-4 hour drive to Agra and get you checked into your hotel.

We’ll get you to the Taj Mahal early to see it in the beautiful morning light. Afterwards, instead of just rushing off, we’ll visit a community of local marble artisans to see how the incredible inlay work on the Taj is still done by hand today. It gives you a real appreciation for the monument. We’ll also see the massive Agra Fort. You’ll stay overnight in Agra.

On the way to Jaipur today, we take a special detour to see the Chand Baori in Abhaneri. It’s a huge, ancient stepwell that looks like something from a movie, and most tours miss it entirely. In the evening in Jaipur, to give you a taste of real local life, we’ll arrange for you to have dinner with a local family or take a fun cooking class.

This morning we’ll explore the magnificent Amber Fort. Afterwards, we’ll focus on Jaipur’s famous arts by visiting a local craft center known for its block-printing and handmade paper. After lunch, we begin the long drive back to Delhi, where we’ll drop you at your hotel or the airport.
